UX DESIGN ON THE CARE TEAM SIDE
CareTeam Hub by Fresenius Medical Care is an app that clinicians use are they make their rounds with patients. The work I did as a designer was to design new assessments, to advocate for streamlined experiences so that nurses, dietitians and social workers could complete their rounds with patients faster. Many of these clinician used paper to write down answers and we worked to help them go electronic.
In this role, I performed research, interviewed users, designed new widgets and created a new way for social workers and dietitians to send messages to one another. I introduced a stepper for one of the requirements in the area of education and helped users by eliminating extra steps to close tasks. I proposed the tasks be closed automatically upon tapping or clicking on the previous task action prior to closure.

Data from assessments were stored in Epic. The designs I created included pre-populating specific answers to questionnaires and assessments from Epic into new assessments. I met with clinicians weekly to show my initial designs and iterated based on feedback.
