Welcome to my digital portfolio. I've put together a brief overview of my work. For a deep dive into my UX process, please request a detailed PDF.
I'm also happy to discuss my experience with you in person.
No matter what your company's size, its digital presence in the marketplace is a potential customer's important first experience with your brand. I've helped develop brand messaging and moved disparate sites and pages into a cohesive, unified look using design systems and patterns and by developing information architecture maps and user flows.
I have extensive app and web responsive design experience on an agile teams. I was lead designer on dashboards for a SaaS media monitoring app. My work entailed creating new dashboards and widgets, making them easy to set up and intuitive to use. I also contributed to a new UX design system while implementing Google's Material Design framework.
I've designed microsites, emails, and landing pages that convert visitors, promote attendance at events, and help capture leads and grow customer databases. I have also developed drip campaigns that engaged target audiences in an informative and educational way along their buying journey.
I support ongoing user research and usability testing through one-on-one interviews, focus groups, and informal group reviews. Validation of designs and iteration is extremely important. We must hear first-hand from the people we are designing for before we can empathize with them.
When you hire me, you hire my years of experience delivering polished, user-friendly website redesigns and apps for diverse clients and businesses — and for less than you'd pay an agency. I'm hands-on, from initial project scoping through launch. I don't stop at general template creation, as do many agencies. I've stepped in when content doesn't fit agencies' templates and new templates have to be built.
I've directly managed creative teams and I've mentored junior staff. I work hard to build great relationships with developers and product managers.
I have both organized and participated in user interviews that resulted in mapping out Personas and Jobs to be Done for user segments. I have developed customer surveys, created journey maps, and directed open and closed card sorts to determine taxonomy. I previously worked in market research, developing questionnaires and moderating focus groups for a large research supplier.
I have lived and trained abroad. While at Philips Healthcare, I received training at its corporate headquarters in The Netherlands. I've also managed end-to-end service digital delivery of work by teams in Europe and Asia. In addition, I've managed offshore design and development teams. For Avid, I managed developers in Uruguay. When I operated my own agency in Buenos Aires, I hired freelancers in Argentina, India, and Uruguay.
I've worked within a variety of small and large companies.
